Cameron M. Thompson, MA (Co-Founder and Director)

Academic Specialties: Philosophy and Theology of Thomas Aquinas, Moral Formation and Character Development

Cameron holds a Master’s Degree in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas where he also obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in both Philosophy and Catholic Studies.   In 2012 he began teaching online undergraduate courses in Catholic Studies and Philosophy as an Adjunct Faculty member of the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND.  He also teaches Theology and Medieval Literature at Chesterton Academy in Edina, MN.  For the past few years he has been engaged in research and development of a complete and systematic Human Formation program for the St. Paul Seminary, as well as groundbreaking work on the theological aesthetics of Bancel Lafarge, which was recently published in the American Catholic Studies Journal. He is currently putting the finishing touches on a few books soon to be published on gentlemanly character, on prayer, and on the cultivation of virtue.

Katie H. Thompson, MA (Co-Founder and Creative Director)

Academic Specialties: Clinical Psychology, Human Development

Katie holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University and a Bachelor’s Degree in both Catholic Studies and Psychology at the University of St. Thomas.  She has worked at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System as a researcher in the areas of Mental Health & Substance Abuse, Personality Disorders, and Cardiac Bypass Surgery.  She has also volunteered on a research study that contributed to a cultural impact section of the new DSM-V.  She is also currently assisting in a study to develop new couple & family therapies to treat individual trauma. She is also engaged in exploring the impact of language on the formation of personal and societal self-conception and concomitant moral development.  Her primary orientation is towards developing a more holistic anthropology that addresses the needs of the whole human person in living a virtuous and flourishing life.
